Philippine Business Directory keeps line-of-business browsing separate from geography. Categories describe what a business does, while location pages describe where listed businesses are grouped.
Start with the business need
Use categories for broad business types such as manufacturing, fabrication, construction, logistics, BPO, raw materials, machinery, and industrial services.
Narrow by place
Use locations when the municipality, city, or province matters. Location pages can point back to categories represented by current listings in that place.
Use tags for specific phrases
Product and service tags are based on explicit phrases in listing descriptions, such as wire harness or plastic injection. Tags are not a replacement for categories; they help with more specific searches.
Search across fields
The search page can combine keywords, categories, and locations. If a search is too narrow, remove one filter and browse the broader result set.
